Deep Cycle Batteries

Deep Cycle Batteries are batteries that are designed to "Cycle" a discharge and a recharge. Deep Cycle batteries are designed to be discharged down to between 70 and 80 % of the battery capacity and then recharged back to 100 %.

These batteries come in all types of technolgies, and depending on the technology type, leads to how many life cycles that battery can perform.

Lead acid batteries, start at 200 Cycles and a lithium will provide around 5000 Cycles, in its lifetime.
