Batteries used for the Leisure industry are different to starter batteries as they are designed to be rundown and recharged (Cycles) in traditional type lead acid and VRLA AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) the plates inside are much thicker and robust than its starter counterpart, as these plates are designed to slowly use their energy. Whereas starter batteries have thin plates to deliver their energy when the key is turned to start vehicle. The Mr Batteries range of leisure batteries offer longer storage life and superior deep cycling capabilities giving you maximum longevity and power.
Our Predator branded Lithium Batteries offer more than 10 x life cycles than any traditional and AGM batteries, constructed with the safest prismatic Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) cells these batteries may at first seem expensive, however, when you actually work out the cost per life cycle the lithium is much cheaper and a better option as you can use the full capacity of the battery rather than 60-70% that you get with Lead Batteries.
